While some studies have shown that fish oil supplements may EASE joint tenderness and REDUCE the need for higher dosages of drugs, you should NOT exceed recommended amounts of any supplement. Taking mega-doses of fish oils may INTERFERE with blood clotting and INCREASE the risk for stroke, especially when taken along with aspirin or other NSAIDs.
