Glucosamine may help people with rheumatoid arthritis. Find out what type of supplement it is and why it might work to relieve symptoms.

Transcript: You may have heard that GLUCOSAMINE can be beneficial for people with rheumatoid arthritis. This compound -- which naturally occurs in our cartilage--has shown some benefits in people with other inflammatory conditions such as osteoarthritis. While it doesn’t impact the disease itself, glucosamine may reduce symptoms such as joint pain and tenderness. It may also help manage RA.
