Transcript: FATIGUE and stiffness, in addition to fever, can be common rheumatoid arthritis symptoms. You may also experience loss of appetite and weight loss. These symptoms may cause you to AVOID physical activities, but moving around and exercising will actually help relieve symptoms and prevent damage. Without exercise and consistent RA treatment, the chronic inflammation of rheumatoid arthritis can cause long-term damage to joints, tendons and ligaments.
