Less common side effects of Lyrica can include blurred vision, dry mouth and swelling of the hands and feet. In rare cases, a severe allergic reaction can cause hives, swelling of the face and trouble breathing. You should avoid alcohol while taking Lyrica.Before you choose to take any medication for your fibromyalgia pain, you should discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. In rare cases, a fibromyalgia medication may cause suicidal thoughts and actions, particularly in teens and young adults.
