But other mild-to-moderate side effects did appear, such as: constipation, dizziness, sweating, insomnia, high blood pressure, increased heart rate and excessive sweating. Before you choose to take any medication for your fibromyalgia pain, you should discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. In rare cases, a fibromyalgia medication may cause suicidal thoughts and actions, particularly in teens and young adults.
