10. Smoked Salmon Roll-Ups

Smoked salmon traditionally goes with cream cheese and bagels. But traditions can change! 

You can keep the salmon and a little bit of lite cream cheese; say bye to the bagel. Instead, prepare a low-carb, snack-size version. Smear a bit of light cream cheese on cucumber spears, then roll small, thin slices of smoked salmon around the cream cheese. Add capers and tomatoes on the side if you want, too. You’ll have the all the benefits of the original—there are great omega-3s in the salmon—with none of saturated fat from whole milk cream cheese or the blood sugar spike from the carb-rich bagel.
